More… The Education Advisory Committee (EAC) would like to announce an essay contest, open to all students who are residents of the City of College Park in Kindergarten through 12th grade, who attend schools receiving public education grant assistance from the City, to honor the memory of Doris Ellis. The essay question is: "How have you kept your mind and body active during the pandemic?". The deadline has been extended to Friday, November 6. The essay contest honors the memory of Doris Ellis, a long-time member of the EAC, who passed this past April. Ms. Ellis always reminded committee members of the important role that sport and fitness activities have in developing leadership and good character.
