All You Ever Wanted To Know About Asian Tiger Mosquitoes
A Hands-On Workshop Presented by Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA)
Mosquito Control staff from MDA will be presenting a workshop in College Park about the Asian tiger mosquito, our imported container-breeding mosquito. It is our #1 pest species in much of the State, and is very difficult to control due to its habits & habitats.
You will learn about: general mosquito life cycle, mosquito habitat & habits, an in-depth exploration of containers used by Asian tiger mosquitoes, & more. There will be time at the end for questions.
The workshop will be held on July 15th from 6pm-8pm at Davis Hall in College Park (9217 51st Ave, College Park, 20740).
We ask that each attendee RSVP by July 8th to: Ms. Stormy Keyes (stormy.keyes@maryland.gov). Please provide your name and affiliation.
