All City offices will be closed on Monday, September 4, 2023, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Collection schedules shift as follows:
- Monday, September 4 – trash, recycling, and yard waste collections will occur on Tuesday, September 5.
- Tuesday, September 5 – trash, recycling, and yard waste collections will occur on Wednesday, September 6.
- Wednesday, September 6 – trash, recycling, and yard waste collections will occur on Thursday, September 7. For participants of the food scrap program, your collection day will be Wednesday.
Special collections for brush, metals and bulky items will only be scheduled for Friday, September 8 7, 2023. Before setting your items out to the curb, please call 240-487-3590 or email publicworks@collegeparkmd.gov to schedule a pickup. Call early in the week to ensure a collection.
