Pilot Tree Inventory:
In
the fall of 2007, the Tree & Landscape Board spearheaded the
city’s first Tree Inventory. According to Brenda Alexander,
deputy director of College Park’s Department of Public Works,
having better information about the health of the trees on city
property will improve the department’s ability to budget for
tree maintenance and replacement.
