City Election Information
Tuesday, November 7, 2017
The College Park City Council consists of the Mayor, who is elected at-large, and eight district Councilmembers, two from each of the four Council districts in the City. All seats are up for election on November 7, 2017.
Poll Locations and Hours: Polls are open on November 7, 2017 from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. There are two polling locations in the City:
Districts 1 and 4 – Vote at Davis Hall, 9217 51st Avenue
Districts 2 and 3 – Vote at City Hall, 4500 Knox Road

Candidates’ Debates and Town Halls
The College Park City Council has adopted Rules and Procedures that will apply to individuals, groups and organizations that wish to arrange for Candidates’ Debates or Town Halls using City resources:

The following events have been scheduled in accordance with City guidelines:
1. The SGA is sponsoring a Candidates Forum and Mayoral Debate on Monday, October 30, 8:00 - 10:00 p.m., in room 2208 of the Edward St. Johns Center, UMD Campus. Parking is free in Lot 1.
2. The Yarrow Neighborhood Association is sponsoring a Mayoral Candidates Debate and District 3 City Council Forum on Wednesday, November 1, 7:30 - 10:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers, College Park City Hall. Parking in the City Hall lot will be free. This event will be broadcast on Comcast Channel 71/FiOS Channel 25, and can be streamed over the internet from the Mayor and Council/Council Meeting Videos page of this website.
