The City of College Park’s Calvert Road office, located at 4601 Calvert Road, will permanently close on Thursday, August 16 at 4:00 p.m. The City’s Department of Public Services will relocate to the new location at 8400 Baltimore Avenue and will open on Monday, August 20 at 8:00 a.m.
Until further notice, please take all building permit applications to the Department of Planning, Community and Economic Development in City Hall (lower level), located at 4500 Knox Road. For questions, contact the Department of Public Services at or 240.487.3570.
The City has entered into a ground lease with the University of Maryland to create a day care program on part of the Calvert Road property. The University will renovate the original part of the building and construct an addition to the building. The City will retain use of the fields and playground.
